What is YBC?

  • YBC stands for Youth Bowl Canada.

  • It is a youth league that bowls weekly, Saturday mornings, from September to April

  • Youth from 3 to 19 can compete in it.

  • Youth compete in 3 different age categories:

    • Bantams (10 year and under)

      • Pee Wees (2 games, no bumpers)

      • Tiny Tots (1 game, bumpers)

    • Juniors (11 - 14 years)

    • Seniors (15 - 19 years)

Why join YBC?

  • YBC offers youth the opportunity to get ACTIVE with regular, moderate exercise and improve their coordination, balance and motor skills.

  • The team dynamics helps to improve social skills through positive interaction with peers.

  • Bowlers can learn about setting personal goals for themselves and receive achievement awards throughout the season in recognition of personal and team accomplishments.

  • YBC offers coaching in a fun and safe environment

  • YBC is a perfect opportunity to learn the ideals of sport in a non-aggressive and friendly environment, whatever the age.
